Curriculum Technology Support & Digital Learning Services for Schools in the West Midlands

Network IT 24’s digital learning service is led by Dylan Dudley – a qualified teacher and former Digital Learning Lead with hands-on primary classroom experience across the West Midlands. Every recommendation is grounded in what actually works in front of a class, not just what looks good on a spec sheet. From curriculum technology support and staff CPD to complete iPad rollout programmes, schools across Birmingham, Dudley and Sandwell get practical, teacher-led support at every stage of their digital journey.

“Most schools have the devices. The problem is staff don’t have the time, training or confidence to use them effectively. Technology sits underused, lessons don’t change, and the investment goes to waste.”

How We Support Your School

Curriculum Technology Support

Digital strategy that fits your curriculum, your staff and your budget. Dylan works with school leadership to map technology to existing planned learning – so devices strengthen teaching sequences instead of disrupting them. Includes DfE Digital Standards audits, SAMR-based impact reviews and curriculum-aligned technology planning across all year groups.

iPad Rollout Programmes

A school device rollout is much more than a delivery date. The full journey is managed – Apple School Manager and Jamf MDM setup, safeguarding-first configuration, staff CPD before devices reach classrooms, pupil launch and post-rollout reviews – so iPads land in classrooms ready to be used well from day one.

Staff CPD & Teacher Training

The biggest barrier to great digital learning isn’t hardware – it’s confidence. CPD programmes meet staff where they are, from cautious beginners to digital champions. Whole-staff INSET, twilight sessions, one-to-one drop-in clinics and phased launch programmes are all available, tailored to your devices, your apps and your curriculum.

Ongoing Support

Termly strategy reviews, refresher CPD, MDM management and helpdesk support keep things moving after the initial project. All joined up with Network IT 24’s wider managed ICT service so technical and digital learning support work as one team.

Imagine a classroom where...

  • Every student has instant access to their learning on a device
  • Teachers can share their screen to the board in seconds – no cables, no delays
  • Work is set, completed, and marked digitally with real-time feedback
  • Lessons are interactive, engaging, and easy to manage

Where we come in...

  • Audit of current technology and usage
  • Strategic planning aligned with school goals
  • Staff training and ongoing CPD
  • Implementation support and classroom modelling
  • Ongoing review and optimisation

    FAQs

Who delivers the Digital Learning Service?

Dylan Dudley, a qualified teacher and former Digital Learning Lead with hands-on primary classroom experience across the West Midlands, leads every engagement. Recommendations are grounded in what works in front of a class, not just what looks good on a spec sheet.

    What is curriculum technology support?

It’s the process of mapping technology to a school’s existing curriculum, rather than the other way round. This includes DfE Digital Standards audits, SAMR-based impact reviews and technology planning aligned to teaching sequences across all year groups, so devices strengthen learning instead of disrupting it.

Do you offer staff CPD alongside device rollouts?

Yes. CPD is built into every rollout, not added on afterwards. Staff receive training before devices reach classrooms, covering everything from whole-staff INSET and twilight sessions to one-to-one drop-in clinics for less confident users.

What does an iPad rollout involve? And do you support other devices?

A managed iPad rollout covers Apple School Manager and Jamf MDM setup, safeguarding-first device configuration, staff CPD ahead of the pupil launch, and a post-rollout review, so devices are ready for effective classroom use from day one. Support isn’t limited to iPads — the same teacher-led approach is applied to help schools make the best use of whatever devices they already have, including Chromebooks and Windows devices.

What happens after the initial rollout or project?

Ongoing support includes termly strategy reviews, refresher CPD, MDM management and helpdesk access. This sits alongside NetworkIT24’s wider managed ICT service, so technical support and digital learning support are joined up rather than handled separately.

Which schools and areas does this service cover?

Schools across Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell and the wider West Midlands are supported directly, with digital learning services also available to schools nationally.
