Case study:
Belle Vue Primary:
Embracing the Future of ICT
A school with a rich legacy, Belle Vue Primary knew the importance of modernising its ICT framework. Their previous setup was not cutting it. With Network IT 24, they embarked on a journey of transformation. Today, the school boasts of state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, positively impacting teaching and learning, all while ensuring cost efficiencies.
“As Head Teacher one of the things I need to look at is how the changes I make impact the teaching and learning of the children. For me there’s been no disruptions at all, our technology has completely changed…”
The Challenge
We were contacted by the new Head Teacher, Joel Marshall at Belle-Vue Primary school in Dudley who was looking to make some changes to the schools existing ICT. When we went on-site to complete an ICT audit, we found the technology was outdated and inadequate to cope with the many changes that Joel was hoping to make to move the school forward in ICT.
Joel’s recognised there were several issues and concerns raised during the ICT audit and a part of this was because the previous provider did not meet their expectations. Our specialist IT consultants were able to provide support and guidance to the senior team on what was required to improve the school’s ICT.
The Solution
To support Belle-Vue with their move away from the old service provider several plans were put into place to help with the transition to Network IT. This transition was seamless, help and support was there right from the beginning and throughout the process.
The experience Belle-Vue had with a change in providers, in their own words was “amazing”, the rebuild and network refresh, communication systems and support provided ensured that the new network transformation has futureproofed their network all within their specified budget.
The Outcome
Joel and all the staff at Belle-Vue are benefitting from an on-site support service where our technical team have become a part of the schools’ team not only working with staff but also the pupils to develop their understanding in ICT.
“As Head Teacher one of the things I need to look at is how the changes I make impact the teaching and learning of the children. For me there’s been no disruptions at all, our technology has completely changed…” J. Marshall.
Clear budgeting and clarity on where the ICT resource budget is going and ensuring plans are in place to facilitate the needs of the school moving forward.
Belle-Vue now has technology to help facilitate and create a positive impact on teaching and learning as well as pupil progress.
