If you feel you have what it takes then…

ICT Apprenticeship

Get hands-on training in school-based IT support while working towards recognised qualifications. As an apprentice, you’ll assist with setting up equipment, supporting staff with basic technical issues, and learning how school networks operate. Although preferred, no prior experience is needed — just a strong interest in IT and a willingness to learn.

ICT Technician (1st/2nd Line)

Support the day-to-day running of IT across multiple schools. You’ll resolve issues like login problems, Wi-Fi connectivity, printer faults, and software troubleshooting. You’ll also assist with setting up devices, maintaining hardware, and escalating more complex issues when needed. Perfect for those with some IT support experience or a relevant qualification.

Key skills:

  • Good communication and problem-solving

  • Familiar with Windows devices, Microsoft 365, and basic networking

  • Comfortable working independently in school environments

Network Manager (3rd Line)

Lead the IT provision across one or more schools. You’ll manage the network infrastructure, monitor system performance, implement security best practices, oversee backups and disaster recovery, and provide support to on-site technicians. You’ll also be involved in planning upgrades and working with senior school staff to align IT with educational goals.

Key skills:

  • Strong understanding of networking, servers, and cloud platforms

  • Experience managing IT in a school or education-focused environment

  • Confident decision-making and leadership ability
